Biography

Lambert Boenders Toronto Emplymeny Lawyer

Lambert received his B.A (Hons) from Victoria College in the University of Toronto and obtained his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1994. In 2009, he entered the practice of employment and human rights law and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2010.

Before practicing law, Lambert worked for more than twenty-five years in the business world in progressively senior positions in Winnipeg, Calgary, Montreal, and Toronto, including as Vice-President of Operations with an international insurance company.

Building on his executive experience with responsibility for retail, travel, and insurance operations, Lambert has developed a unique perspective when approaching employment matters, advising innovative legal strategies for both employees and small and medium enterprise employers, while respecting the values of the corporate environment. In short, he provides sensible, practical, and cost-effective, solutions.

He is a member of the Conference Committee of the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA) and a sponsor with Rainbow Railroad, an organisation that helps LGBTQI refugees find a path to start a new life, free from persecution.

Lambert regularly volunteers at Pro Bono Ontario and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. He is fluent in English, French, and Dutch and conversant in Spanish and German.

In the fall of 2020, Lambert started his own firm and he is affiliated with Emstrata Law, an alliance of established employment and labour law firms.
